Initially
this website was put together just like every other website built for service businesses. Its intention was merely to advertise and provide information about us to attract more business. It has worked out in that sense very well for many years. New clients have found us and much work has been generated from this site. We are thankful for that.
Then the recession came
and the work just wasn’t coming in as before. Certainly not enough to cover operating costs as they were. So we did what every hard working American did – we cut expenses and stream lined everything. This website came very close to being turned off. Thankfully we just made it through and work is plenty again.
We reinvented this website
during the recession. The purpose is just the same as before with the added goal of creating a residual income to support this site. If all goes well maybe more. That would be great. Anyways, we are providing content in our field of expertise and the relevant ads help pay for that.
How it works
Provided ads are in place on this site as additional relevant content and resource for you. Some affiliates pay us commission when you click on their ad. Others pay us a commission only if you make a purchase after being directed from this site. That is basically how the internet works for all affiliates.
How much does this site make from ads?
At the moment -just enough to support the hosting fees. Maybe it will develop into more, maybe not. As for now, 40 – 60 hours per week restoring furniture is what supports everything else and food on the table. Retirement is not coming anytime soon.
