Complete Restoration For Mahogany Dresser

 

 

Drawers where sorted from pile and mahogany veneer was carefully removed. Laminate between veneer and core wood was no good – removed.

1/16″ birch plywood is glued to front and back of drawer fronts.
Original mahogany veneer and moldings will cover.

Below is all that was usable of case for lower section.
Mahogany veneer on sides was saved and will be replaced.

Scraping paint from the front stiles.

Lower case re-assembled with new sides which will be covered with original veneer.

Lower case with new drawer dividers in place. Back, top, bottom, stiles and drawer runners all original parts.
